In addition to security operations, Counterforce and the other UTC companies benefit from the captive United Technologies Research Center (UTRC), located in Hartford, Connecticut.
The UTRC is actively engaged in improving the services provided by Counterforce and developing new processes and systems for the security industry through modeling, analysis, simulation and optimization combined with fundamental experiments and prototype demonstrations. The staff of UTRC envisions the future and helps to make it a reality.
